We are looking for an enthusiastic innovative Dietitian who would like to work as part of a team delivering a wide range of nutrition and dietetic care within Cornwall Community and across different health settings and areas of practice as part of a rotation.

This vacancy is for a full-time post, however part time will be considered. This post offers the opportunity to support skills required to deliver effective efficient clinical care by rotating between different areas of clinical practice based across Cornwall. The rotations include an exciting program of eating disorders, community, acute and oncology, with a paediatric study thread. We also offer peer support and a great preceptorship program. You will be supported by a dynamic, inclusive and friendly team of Dietitian's.

Rotations will last 9 months.

The remit will be to contribute to the service under the guidance of the lead/ experienced Dietitians and the Service Manager. This will require the use of inpatient ward skills as well as one to one consultations and the engagement of multi professional colleagues in the implementation of practice. You will also be responsible for the supervision of dietetic assistants and contribute to student placements.

This post is based primarily at The Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro but you will provide dietetic services across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

You will divide your time between inpatients and outpatients based within the rotation setting you are under within a supportive team. You will be offered a paediatric study day once per month and a speciality of your choice to guide your own career

The wider Dietetic Service has a variety of specialities including, Renal, Eating Disorders, Gastroenterology/Nutritional support, Oncology, Diabetes, Home Enteral Feeding, Paediatrics and Learning Disabilities. This post offers the opportunity to support skills required to deliver effective efficient clinical care by rotating between different areas of clinical practice.
