Our client has an exciting opportunity as a **Purchasing Apprentice / Trainee** (Level 3) with a local manufacturing company based in Newcastle - Under - Lyme, Staffordshire.

This position offers training to high standards with the prospect of achieving a successful career in purchasing.

Apprenticeship suitable for any ages.

Salary will be approximately £14,500 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

Full - Time: Mon - Thu 8am-5pM/Fri - 8am-3.45pm

**Your responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate Procurement Requests and Orders
- Maintaining agreed stock levels
- Build relationships with the stores staff and suppliers
- Maintain database and records

**Who are they looking for**:

- GCSEs at "Pass" or above including Maths and English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve
- Good numeracy skills, a keen eye for detail and a desire to get results
