Injection Mould Setter

The Best Connection are recruiting for a permanent placement for our client based in Rochester. Requiring a experience Plastic Injection Moulder Operative/Setter who would seek lead setting responsibilities on the shift.

**Job Overview**:
Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, to source a skilled injection moulding setter to join their team to support continued business growth.

**Salary and Shift**:

- Monday to Friday 06:00 till 14:30 week 1 then 13:30 till 22:00 week 2 - rotating each week
- £14.42 per hour / £30,000pa 40 hours per week

**Role**:

- In the role of injection moulding setter, you will be required to carry out tool changes and set machines for production runs.
- As injection moulding setter you will complete daily machine safety checks on each shift using relevant check sheet.
- The successful injection moulding setter will strive to achieve standard cycle times and optimum processing parameters.
- Ensure correct procedures are followed during the machine start-up / shut down process.
- Answering machine alarms immediately and promptly carry out the necessary action required on machine breakdowns to minimise the machine downtime.
- Comply with the health & safety policy and observe all the safety rules to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience within injection moulding manufacturing
- Industry recognised injection moulding qualifications an advantage
- Positive 'can-do' attitude is a must
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to own initiative
