**About us**

Country Hill Animal Shelter is a local charity dedicated to helping all cats in need - we take in, care for, rehabilitate and ultimately rehome as many cats as we can.

We rely on generosity and support from our local communities, donations and funds from our own charity shops.

Some cats need our help because they have been badly treated or abandoned, but sometimes changes in an owners life can mean having to rehome a much loved pet through no fault of their own. We give them any necessary veterinary treatment (neutering, vaccinations, worm and flea treatment and identification chips) and board them until we can find them a safe, happy new home.

We also offer **boarding** for pre-owned cats for whenever their parents need it

By donating, adopting or visiting our charity shops and warehouse, you’re supporting your local animal shelter.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Kingsbridge at our Furniture and Clearance Warehouse.

**Duties**:

- Keeping a tidy and safe warehouse
- Assisting customers and boosting sales
- Coordinating our delivery/collection van along with the Warehouse team
- Handle products with care
- Load and unload delivery vehicle
- Stock shelves and keep track of requests
- Pat Testing across our 5 premises (training provided)
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks when required
- Driving the Delivery/Collection Van if required over Staff Absence

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Hard working and flexible on tasks
- Skilful in materials handling and stock management
- Strong communication and team work mentality
- Competent in loading and unloading goods safely
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management beneficial
- Physically fit to engage in heavy lifting tasks

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 19.5 per week
