Painter and Decorator

ColourGirlz is a small but growing business on the outskirts of Truro.

We are modern, motivated, professional and experienced female painting, decorating and renovation team. We do all aspects of internal and external decorating, including wallpaper hanging and spray painting.

**Job description**

We are looking for a reliable self employed decorator who takes pride in their work and has some experience as a decorator.

Essential qualities for the role are the ability to work as part of a team, but also confidently solo, strong work ethic and the ability to work to very high standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

**All work is based all around Cornwall.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
