**Shifts - Monday to Thursday 21:15 - 07:00**

A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Production supervisor to work for an aerospace giant who supply into some of the biggest names in the sector today. Due to continued expansion and work order, they are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join the team.

You’ll continuously monitor raw materials, all operational processes, and the overall production environment to ensure that all activity comply with the company’s safety manufacturing standards.

You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and reviewing the team capability, ensuring all staff are clearly focused on their key objectives and are developed to maximise their potential.

**Key Responsibilities of the production supervisor**
- Ensuring safety and performance targets are achieved.
- Lead/assist with continuous improvement projects and other similar activities.
- Ensure all operators are maintaining output levels in line with targets and recording all major events e.g. downtime
- Maintain high standards adhering to Health and Safety procedures
- Conduct various elements in managing people to include RTW meetings, investigations, disciplinaries, training

**Requirements of the production supervisor**:

- Experience of working with in a process driven manufacturing technical background
- Excellent organisational skills including planning of labour and processes
- Experience in delivering Continuous Improvements/Cost Reduction/Cultural Change
- Good Health, Safety and Environmental awareness with an understanding of risk assessments and legislation
- Good understanding of key manufacturing processes and matrices (TOC, 6S, variable cost control etc.)
- Resilience and an ability to liaise with staff at all levels are essential

**Qualifications**
- A formal qualification (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline (HNC or higher) is desirable
