Our purpose is simple - Preserve the past, whilst mindfully reinventing for the future.

We are the UK’s first and only fully circular luxury retailer and a leading authority on preloved handbags. We buy, sell, restore, and authenticate some of the most coveted fashion brands including Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, just to name a few.

And, as we've been the original Handbag Restorer since 2013, we're also the industry go-to for handbag repairs. We're known for our work with well-known department stores, fashion brands such as Gucci, Celine, and Bulgari to name a few, as well as work with celebrities and influencers. We’ve also been featured in Vogue, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Grazia.

JOB ROLE

As a Colour Restoration Artisan within The Handbag Clinic, you will use a range of our in house products to carry out a refined list of restorative services within our Atelier. This includes colour correcting small areas of luxury leather goods, 24k replating of hardware, fully restoring handbags new and vintage - ensuring every item is brought back to its former glory.
- With the main portion of the role being at the stitch workbench, a strong and organised work ethic is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills will be required for all tasks. You will also enjoy working both individually and collaboratively with the team.
- You will also bring experience of managing workflow, meeting targets and meeting deadlines.
- A positive, helpful, and courteous attitude towards colleagues, being reliable and supportive.
- A strong eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in Colour Theory and basic colour matching is preferred.
- Progressed their studies to degree level, preferably within fashion or têxtiles.

Please note that all applicants, even those with existing stitching experience, will undergo our in-house Training Programme to learn how to deliver on our services and to our high standards.
