Our local authority client based in North London are urgently seeking an experienced Paralegal.

**Job Role**

To provide support to the Legal Services Manager, Principal Lawyers, Senior Lawyers, lawyers and legal officers in undertaking general legal cases.
- Conscientious with good written and oral skills and a keen attention to detail.
- An ability to prioritise workload promptly and to work calmly to tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexibly, accurately and quickly to support safeguarding solicitors on request.
- Proof reading and routine advice to file and serve assessment reports from private law proceedings (occasionally adoption and special guardianship). Producing s.7 and s.37 reports
- Administrative support to assist solicitors regularly to prepare for court hearings.
- Process disclosure and redaction requests.
- Support the work of the team with rotas, general enquiries and other ad hoc tasks on request.

Private or public sector experience. Private sector will need to include Children’s law experience.
