The department provides a stimulating, friendly and professionally rewarding environment for staff to develop their clinical and professional expertise.

The post holder will lead, deliver, develop, manages and evaluate the clinical pharmacy services for virtual wards.

The focus of the post is on ensuring the provision of high quality, safe, comprehensive (clinical, supply, financial and operational) pharmaceutical service to virtual wards in accordance with the priorities set by the Pharmacy Clinical Services Manger and Deputy Chief Pharmacist.

There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.
