Machinist\ Trimmer for Car Interiors

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist \ Trimmer, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and customization of hearse and limousine vehicles. Your responsibilities will primarily involve making the soft furnishings for the car interior. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the creation of high-quality, bespoke vehicles that meet the unique needs and expectations of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate sewing machines to create and assemble car interior components, including seats, dashboards, door panels, and headliners.
- Measure, cut, and sew materials such as leather, vinyl, and fabric to meet exact specifications.
- Ensure all products meet our stringent quality standards.
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to bring custom designs to life.
- Maintain and troubleshoot sewing machines and other equipment to ensure they operate efficiently.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace, following all health and safety guideline

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a machinist in the automotive interior industry.

Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and other related equipment.

Strong attention to detail and precision in following design specifications.

Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of different materials and sewing techniques specific to automotive interiors.

Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

This position may involve working in a shop or manufacturing environment.

The role may require the use of heavy equipment, tools, and machinery.

Occasional overtime and weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
