Weekly Hours: 40 Hours a week, rotating shifts covering Days, Nights and weekends.

Location: Brighton Make Ready Centre, Chamberlain House, Woollards Way, Brighton BN1 9BP

What does a Vehicle Make Ready Operative do?

As a Vehicle Make Ready Operative (MRO), you will work at one of our Make Ready Centres as part of the Make Ready team.

As part of this team you will ensure the emergency vehicles; ambulances and cars, are fully checked and roadworthy, cleaned and restocked with the correct clinical and medical equipment and consumables. You will also check and test critical medical equipment in line with your training.

What are we looking for?
- Hold a valid C1 licence.
- Working to a high specification, following step by step instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to work as part of a team or alone.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be IT literate.
- Be polite and professional.
- Be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing priorities.
