Waking Night Support Workers - Children’s Residential Service

Waking Night Support Workers are required for a specialist therapeutic child care and education service. The service, based in Telford, is for boys who have experienced significant abuse and trauma in their early lives.

This Waking Night Support Worker role is 10pm - 8am or 11pm - 9am on a 4 on 4 off rolling rota

Hourly rates are £12.56 - £13.53/hr on a 35 hr week contract.

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will contribute to the maintenance and provision of a high quality therapeutic community residential service for young people. The primary role is to provide safety, security and support to young people during the night time hours. It is acknowledged that for prolonged periods, the young people will be asleep. These periods provide opportunities for important administrative and domestic tasks which play a vital support role in the overall functioning of the home.
