We are looking for a person to work with our QA team on the shop floor, you will be taught to read drawings, assist in the measuring and markup & tagging of steelwork for masking in pre paint preparation, check and note steel identification’s for pre and post work and much more.

You will also help the team with the masking & de masking as required.

As this is a training position you will start on the national minimum hourly rate which will progress as you progress.

You will be put through qualifications in shotblasting/painting as the job and your experience proceeds.

Full training will be given and in return you will be a conscientious, literate, and numerically capable person who can work as part of a team or by yourself when required. An attention detail is required and able to follow technical instructions within reason.

You will work a minimum of 40hrs a week on 6am - 2pm (finishing time can be later it is job based to 4pm) and will need to be available to work 2 Saturdays a month from 6am - 12pm at overtime rate.

When a certain level of training is complete your hours will change to a work based rotating shift between 6am and 8pm Mon to Friday.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 06.00 - 18.00 per week
