Window Fabricator

We are looking for a **Aluminum Window** **Fabricator** to join our team in Halifax.

**Workings Hours**:
Hour are Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm

Occasionally need to work on a Friday
- this is paid at Overtime rate and the hours are 6am-11am

**Pay**:Pay is £13.00 per hour with overtime at x1.5

**Position Summary**:
The Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication of steel and aluminum products using the most up-to-date equipment and processes. The Fabricator will work closely with the Production Manager to coordinate and oversee the production process.

**Essential Duties**:

- Prepare steel or aluminum parts for fabrication using the most up-to-date equipment and processes
- Operate all equipment according to standard operating procedures and specifications
- Inspect parts to ensure quality assurance is met; report quality issues to Supervisor; schedule repairs or replacements to Supervisor
- Work with Production Supervisor to coordinate and oversee production process
- Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, safe manner, while complying with OSHA safety requirements and Quality Assurance Department standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager, including but not limited to daily cleaning of work area, equipment, tools, etc.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations (e.g. proper use of tools, use of protective gear) as well as company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager, including but not limited to but not limited to payroll, inventory, shipping & receiving, timekeeping, attendance, etc.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Must be able to read drawings (CAD), draw parts using CAM software (CNC), and fabricate parts using hand tools.. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk repetitively on concrete surfaces. Must be able to work overtime as needed when needed.
