**Senior Communications Officer**

**Start: ASAP (8 Week contract)**

**Location: WC1H9BT (Hybrid working - Thursday is the only day required in the office)**

**Salary: £20.13 - £24.90**

Our client is London's Global University and are consistently ranked among the top 10 Universities in the world.

**Purpose of the role**:
You will be designing and delivering communications campaigns to internal and external audiences to support the clients access and student success objectives.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with colleagues in Access, Student Funding, Student Success and CAM to co-ordinate delivery of communications campaigns
- Management and development of Access and Admissions social media channels
- Development and maintenance of the Access and Widening Participation website
- Liaison with partners and stakeholders to ensure communications plans for shared projects are aligned
- Ensuring that copy, style and tone used in communications is consistent and appropriate for target audiences
- Responsible for disseminating best practice for communication across the team, including the identification of trends in communications to prompt future development
- To ensure effective communication with line manager regarding work in progress

**Ideal person specification**:

- Qualifications commensurate with education to A Level or equivalent, including proficiency in English and mathematics
- Familiarity with secondary
- and tertiary-level education and a knowledge of UK higher education
- Experience of producing and editing effective content for web and printed materials
- Experience of developing communications plans and campaigns
- Experience of working collaboratively within a complex organisation
- Project management skills
- Clear and effective verbal communications
