**Description**

Working as part of a multi-disciplined team to provide a high-quality care service to residents, as a senior care worker you will
- provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards
- support and enable residents to maintain skills and personal interests and promote active participation
- maintain your skills and knowledge at an adequate level and will undertake training and assessment as required to maintain and progress your knowledge

**What we are looking for**:

- a passion for providing person centred care and treating each resident as individuals and seeking and respecting choices
- a passion for ensuring that no one is discriminated against or excluded and an understanding of human rights and its impact on the services delivered to residents
- an understanding of wellbeing and what is important to residents and how this understanding can be used to improve outcomes
- the ability to receive, store, dispose, and administer medications and controlled drugs safely and effectively
- an understanding of the importance of empathy in all areas of employment, understanding the values of others and always providing a caring service
- a willingness to learn and develop your skills to improve the service
- a willingness to participate in inter-disciplinary team working to support individuals.
- a dedication to meeting the needs of our residents and gathering first-hand information to use for improvements to the delivery of care

**Qualifications**:

- Level 3 or working towards level 3 in adult care
