Deputy Head of Tax

I am currently recruiting a Deputy Head of Tax for a leading tech led organisation. They are seeking a strong Tax specialist for an 18 month fixed term contract.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Responsibility for UK tax compliance, including Corporation Tax and VAT
- Managing the cash tax forecasting and reporting process
- Providing UK tax advice to the business, and business partnering across the UK organisation in relation to tax matters
- Dealing with HRMC
- Identify and implement process improvements across the compliance cycle
- Supporting the Group Tax Team and global tax community on ad hoc projects
- Line management and coaching of two direct reports.

To be considered for this role you will be ACA or CTA qualified with experience within in an in house Tax role. Attention to detail is critical as is strong business partnering skills. Experience of using large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP would also be an advantage. My client operates a hybrid working model
