The role

As an Owned Media Executive, your role will be to develop and execute our clients’ overall content marketing strategy, with a focus on content creation and optimisation. You will be part of a fast-paced team working alongside our in-house SEO experts inthe Owned Media division on a range of exciting clients.

Your day-to-day tasks will be varied, but will include writing articles, in-depth guides, blogs and other forms of online content, as well as developing your knowledge of SEO and how content drives performance.

Understanding the effectiveness of content is just as important as writing engaging content, so as you develop in the role and our Content department evolves, you will be given training to use research, analytics and social platforms to measure content andobtain audience insights to support with content strategies.

You will also be involved in client reporting, ensuring that data input is accurate, and that the analysis paints an accurate picture of client performance vs. KPIs.

We are looking for someone who is not only passionate and curious about what they do but is comfortable discussing ideas and new ways of working to the wider team and clients in an accessible way.

**Responsibilities**:

- Writing, editing and proofreading original web content for a high profile client
- Producing articles, blogs and other forms of online content
- Execute work based on SEO content best practice, building on SEO writing skills
- Editing copy produced by fellow team members
- Writing high-quality copy quickly, efficiently and to tight deadlines
- Liaising with team members on a daily basis to discuss projects and tasks
- Assist with wider content efforts to execute ambitious strategies for a high profile client
- Brainstorming ideas for content development and giving input at status meetings
- Supporting with digital PR campaigns and guest posting
- Build relationships with other content teams and understand clients' business & competitors
- Communicate with clients as directed by Manager
- Contribute to internal and external company communications (newsletters, thought pieces etc.)

**Qualifications**
- Excellent English language writing skills, strong attention to detail
- An ability to work in a team with good communication skills
- An effective, persuasive writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer-friendly
- A capacity for editing and proofreading, with good research skills
- Experience of writing content for a variety of industries, formats & styles
- A creative mind that thinks outside the box
- The ability to deliver work within short time frames and meet tight deadlines, effective timekeeping and time management
- Team player with good inter-personal skills
