CNC Laser Operator

**CNC Laser Machine Operator - Cowbeach, £24,000**

We are a growing temperature-controlled vehicle conversion company based in East Sussex. With years of experience and knowledge building refrigerated transport, commercial vehicles, and trailers. Our products can work with a wide range of industry sectors and due to this we are recruiting a CNC / Laser Machine Operator

We are seeking an CNC / Laser Machine Operator to join our team and be involved with the production of panels & GRP skins which are used in the construction of vehicle conversions.

The duties include but are not limited to the following:
Operation & set-up of CNC machine on a daily basis
Loading and unloading of materials
Produce drawings / templates using the V Carve software when required
Ensure materials are checked for size, thickness, and grade, prior to cutting and inform the Manager of any quality concerns.
Be responsible for quality of materials that have been cut on the machine.
Deliver materials and assemblies to fabrication department and assist them when required.
Ensure that materials are to correct specification to meet customer/vehicle requirements.
Quality checking and fault identification
Carry out any general tasks when asked by your manager
Conform to all Health & Safety policies and guidelines
Design drawings & templates using the N-Lase Software to produce laser engraved materials when required.
Key skills required

Knowledge of using V Carve software or equivalent preferred but not essential
Must have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently without supervision and as part of a team to achieve productivity goals.
All machine and personal safety procedures to be followed at all times
Correct use of PPE
Ability to multitask
Ability to communicate well
Ability to meet time schedules and deadlines.
Ability to learn new skills.
Ability to work in a face paced environment
Have basic use of hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools.
Must have a good eye/hand coordination.
Physical able to load and unload the bed of the machine including, standing, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling and have overall good physical strength
Willing to learn different skills in other areas of the business
Have pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Responsible for keeping a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Full UK drivers licence due to the location and manoeuvring vehicles
Hours of work

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
