You will be a member of the Energy Solutions Project Support Team working on the hugely ambitious and exciting new 'Energy Expert' project Initiative. Energy Solutions assists the OVO business in meeting the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), as well as other Energy Efficiency funding initiatives and we achieve this by fitting Energy Efficiency measures such as insulation, renewables and new heating systems to domestic properties across the UK.
The team created to deliver this key business objective will become an integral part of the OVO family, assisting our members (existing and future) by surveying properties and providing meaningful advice, information and products to improve the energy efficiency of their homes and reduce running costs in the longer term.
**This role in a nutshell**:
Reporting to a Senior Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) you will be responsible for collating, checking and utilising any property data captured during an assessment undertaken by a team of OVO Energy Experts. This information will be used to create content for a bespoke Home Upgrade Report detailing how energy efficient the property is, and what upgrades might be beneficial for the home and the customer.
You'll play a key role in the delivery of the service and collaborate with internal colleagues in sales and marketing to understand customer demand in your area. You'll also be expected to work with external colleagues at the Energy Savings Trust (EST) who are partnering with OVO to deliver tailored and credible advice on how to improve energy efficiency, reduce fuel bills and cut the UKs carbon emissions.
Our simple proposal centres around OVO providing qualified and credible experts to undertake home energy efficiency assessments and advising people how they can make their homes more energy efficient. Your role is to administer and coordinate the delivery of this service.
**Your key outcomes will be**:
- Liaise with OVO Marketing to understand eligibility and weekly expressions of interest to create capacity assessments, and help maintain diaries on behalf of a number of field-based, OVO Energy Experts.
- Liaise with customers who have approached OVO to take advantage of this service and monitor the outputs generated by the home visit from the OVO Energy Expert.
- Remotely monitor your Energy Experts diaries and liaise with field-based staff to ensure complete adherence to their work schedule.
- Where circumstances dictate that an Energy Expert is unable to make a pre-arranged appointment, the role holder should manage that message with the customer and rebook a home visit at a mutually convenient time.
- Following a home visit, liaise with the Energy Expert to create a bespoke 'Home Report' and present that back to the customer in line with predetermined timelines.
- The role holder is responsible for undertaking Aftercare calls with each customer to answer questions relating to the service, and capture feedback_ _on the service provided.
- Creating weekly and monthly reports on service performance to distribute to their Senior DEA, and the wider Energy Solutions team.
- Assisting Sales, Commercial, Operations and Assurance functions to ensure the same high level customer journey is maintained where a home visit results in an upgrade measure being installed.
