Experienced Wedding

We’re looking for an experienced wedding co-ordinator to join our amazing team at Donington Park Farmhouse.

Our 300-year-old beautiful barns host a great many events, especially weddings each year and experience in the co-ordination of events is required for this role. However, the most important thing will be your personality and work ethic.

We have our own lovely team of chefs and bar staff working together and excellent communication skills will be key to this role. It goes without saying that weekends are our busiest time, days off will be mainly during the week. This exciting role will include everything from organising weddings, conferences, and corporate events from enquiry stage through to the day itself.

Our hotel boasts 19 beautiful bedrooms. And our rural 22-acre site is also shared by our quaint caravan site, which is kept busy by Donington Circuit next door.

**What we’re looking for -**
- Immediate start preferred
- At least 1 years’ experience as a wedding or events co-ordinator required, including pre-wedding planning & liaison experience
- Excellent inter-personal, organisational, and written communication skills
- Good IT, you will be making use of our hotel & function booking system for function sheets and hotel bookings.
- A high level of attention to detail for all tasks is key.
- A personable and professional approach when dealing with all hotel, wedding and function guests throughout the venue.

**About the role -**
- Guiding our wedding couples from initial contact, through to planning meetings to the day itself.
- Showing newly engaged couples around the venue and understanding what they would like for their day. Creating bespoke wedding packages.
- Administration for weddings and their bedroom reservations.
- Setting up and preparing for events.
- Reception and front of house hotel shifts, office, and reservations work.
- Ensure smooth communication between the events team and all other departments
- Preparing clear and precise function sheets for all events.

Every day is different and we are lucky to have a friendly team who enjoy coming to
work and as a family run business, we close for Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
