**Job Purpose**

As a Barista, it is your duty to deliver a memorable, welcoming and efficient service to all customers that visit BEATNIK. As the first point of contact, you should utilise a broad set of interpersonal skills to provide an enriching and engaging experience to every customer. This role demands high standards, which will be played out through key responsibilities, such as taking orders, preparing beverages and serving snacks. Being detail-oriented and demonstrating attention to detail is absolutely essential. You must have existing speciality coffee knowledge and experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver a memorable, welcoming and efficient customer experience
- Developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers
- Taking orders promptly, in a friendly and efficient manner
- Utilising speciality equipment to ensure beverages are made to the highest standard
- Providing table service, when required
- Performing other reasonable duties and/or projects, as directed by your line manager
- Ensuring health and safety standards are not only adhered to, but superseded; BEATNIK must be immaculate at all times (front-of-house and back-of-house)
- Ensuring compliance with BEATNIK's policies, procedures and guidance, along with all other relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
- As a valued member of our team, it is essential that you contribute to BEATNIK's continued evolution by suggesting areas of improvement and voicing new ways for the brand to grow and expand
