An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Individual Placements Team (IPT) to recruit a permanent band 6 case worker based at Aspen House, Colchester.

Working in a well-established placement team that has responsibility for health-funded specialist hospital and community placements in the mental health, learning disability and brain injury sectors, we are looking for a registered nurse (RN, RMN, RNLD) who has some experience in caring for people with mental disorder, has a good understanding of care home environments, and is committed to ensuring people are cared for in the least restrictive setting and receive safe and effective care.

The successful applicant will support a team of case managers to review placements, liaise with social care and provider colleagues across the Essex system, trouble-shooting and using your professional knowledge and experience to engage with clinicians and patients to get the best outcomes for people.

Based in Colchester, you will be travelling regularly across Essex and occasionally elsewhere in the UK
