Maintenance Manager

My client based in the Stourport-on-Severn is looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to work days (Mon - Fri) on a Permanent basis.
The main focus on the role includes the following
- ensure that the workforce and subcontractors perform their daily tasks in a safe environment.
- ensure that the plant drivers perform daily vehicle checks, identify any work necessary on the vehicles and that is passed to the maintenance department in accordance with the company procedures.
- ensure that any inspections and reporting of defects related to plant, equipment and containers on site are reported by the site operatives and passed on to the maintenance department in accordance with the company policies.
- ensure that any vehicle, plant machinery, or items of equipment are not used unless it is safe to do so.
- maintain operational procedures and methods to ensure that contract requirements are met
- implement any new operational procedures and methods to ensure that contract requirements are met
- maintain and implement the company’s standards of discipline and personnel procedures when a company rule is in breach or performance is below standard.
- ensure that all work is completed to an acceptable standard, with regards to safety, quality, time and objectives.
Skills wise you must have multi skilled maintenance abilities with excellent organizational and admin skills, having gained your experience within a manufacturing, production or process environment.
In return for your skills and experience they offer a salary up to £45,000
