We now have an opportunity for a highly motivated **Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor**

As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of employees and the organisation as a whole. You will be responsible for implementing and managing HSE programs, policies, and procedures to create a safe and compliant work environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.

This position is well-suited for a Health and Safety professional looking to advance in their career, and has the opportunity to seek guidance and support from a Health and Safety Consultant as needed.

**Sector**:
Warehouse and workshop operations with field-based engineering.

**Location**:
Derby headquarters with travel to customer locations and other facilities within the group when required.

**Qualifications & experience**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate
- 2 years’ experience in a EHS role
- Experience with ISO standards including, 9001, 14001, 45001
- Driving licence

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and update health, safety and environmental policies to ensure business compliance.
- Complete risk assessments to identify potential hazards and manage actions to completion.
- Conduct inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and hazards.
- Design and deliver EHS training.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Monitor and manage the organisations environmental impact.
- Ensure incidents are reported, investigated and preventive measures implemented.
- Coach managers and employees on safety matters including incident investigations and risk management.
- Foster a positive safety culture.
- Be actively involved in continuous improvement throughout the business.
