Technical Assistance

NUVIA UK are currently recruiting for Technical Assistance - Configuration Management to work within our Technical Services & Consulting department. A fast growing team with opportunities available up and down the country. We're striving to create a multidisciplinary team to offer our clients the best range of talent.

This role will be embedded into EDVANCE, working on the Hinkley Point C project. This is a permanent opportunity, based in Bristol.

Activities to be carried out as part of the service:

- Configuration management: UK-DC, valves list, CTS, maturity assessment.
- Management of HPC valves contracts (document monitoring, open points, modifications and non-conformities, production of KPI reports, drafting of REX sheets, management of cross-cutting topics in NBI contracts, etc.)

Required Technical Skills:

- Application of safety culture and quality risk management.
- Ability to write technical specifications for mechanical equipment according to RCC-M.
- Process control and qualification of pressure equipment.
- Mastery of production tools and operation of nuclear valves (associated electric and pneumatic motors, circuit start tests)
- Mastery of technical and contractual contract management.
- Mastery of open-point process - valves interface with the site and contract holders - supply of valves equipment with the entities internal EDF type DI/DT/DP and suppliers.
- Control of pressure equipment processes and qualification.
- French-speaking would be an advantage.
