We are seeking a dynamic and confident person who has exceptional communication skills and can clearly and enthusiastically speak and project on a microphone.

Hull University Students’ Union is a Charity, with a large trading subsidiary which included SPAR and JD Wetherspoon; our primary purposes are:

**About the Role**
- You will co-ordinate and host our Quiz and Karaoke events with confidence and enthusiasm.
- You will play a key part in audience participation and engagement encouraging them to be as involved as possible.
- Being authoritative, when necessary, i.e. to settle disputes on answers and keeping the room in control.
- You will need to set up the equipment each week and be competent in operating a laptop to control and operate software, full training will be given on this.
- Working closely with the Event Manager to make sure everything is set for the evening in advance.

Reports to: Entertainments Manager

**Desirable**
- Previous experience of using lighting control and PA system
- Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety procedures.
