**GIS Consultant - Remote Working**

As a GIS Consultant you will be part of their Data Intelligence practice. You will be devising and implementing GIS solutions across multiple disciplines, through all parts of a project’s life cycle. Working with their clients, you'll be supported by theirlarge Geospatial team to identify, shape and manage GIS capabilities.

The role of GIS Consultant is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for the right person to implement GIS solutions across multiple disciplines and through all parts of a project’s lifecycle, remote working is available on a perm basis, client has officesthroughout the UK, will be required to attend meetings / briefings when required.

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Highly experienced in the use of Geospatial Software both in desktop and webtools and analysis (specifically, ESRI stack including ArcGIS Server and Portal).
- Experience of managing ArcGIS for Enterprise (ArcGIS Server, Portal, Enterprise Geodatabase, ArcGIS Online).
- Proven experience of deploying ArcGIS for Enterprise.
- Assist with the implementation of ESRI 10 Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE and ArcGIS
- Assist with system design, performance and mange 3rd party suppliers - Work closely with other Applications, Infrastructure and Service desk staff, to proactively arrive at business solutions and/or to resolve bugs and implement user change requests.
- Liaise with external development or support teams on more complex solutions or bugs.
- Work with the existing GIS Team to define and implement changes that bring improvements and enhancements to the corporate GIS system.
- Data security expertise and / or awareness.
- Practical experience of data manipulation using scripting languages such as python or tools such as FME.
