**£35,000 + Overtime**

**Monday-Friday Days + 1 in 5 Call Out Rota (24/7)**

**Our client is a leading manufacturer of plastic products supplied into the building industry, that are part of a global group. Due to growth within the company and 2 new recent production line installations they are looking for multi-skilled maintenanceengineers to join their close knit engineering team.**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production machinery & systems
- Carry out PPM's, reactive maintenance & project work
- Working on conveyors, production machinery, extruders, cooling systems, mixers, heat exchangers, site services & facilities, industrial processing equipment
- Monitoring machine efficiencies, continuous improvement projects
- Be part of the engineering team on-call-rota, working 1 week in 5
- Dealing with sensors, motors, bearings, shafts, drives, inverters, gearboxes, 24V DC controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, contactors, relays
- Promote a health & safety driven culture

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum Level 3 qualified in engineering
- Completed a time-served-apprenticeship
- Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - but happy to look at either electrical or mechanical
- Must have worked in a production or manufacturing environment previously
- PLC - electrical fault finding
- Flexible to work a call-out rota system
- 17th or 18th edition would be beneficial
- Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & diagnostics skills
- Knowledge of health & safety in manufacturing
- Team fit and attitude really important
- Mechanical fabrication, fitting, welding skills would be beneficial
