We currently have an opportunity available for a **Despatch Operative (9am day shift)** to join our team based in** Syston, Leicester**. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return will receive a **competitive hourly pay of £11.10 rising to £11.27 per hour.**

**The role**

As a **Despatch Operative, **you will report to a Front-Line Manager and are responsible for carrying out the tasks given to you, to the best of your ability, high quality pies in an efficient and timely manner.
- Vacancies on **our 9am day shift requires working a 3** **on /3 off 12-hour shift pattern.**:

- Working in our despatch team which involves palletising and order picking.
- Working in a chilled environment and can be physical.

**Responsibilities of our **Despatch Operative**:

- Following procedures and instructions correctly.
- Raising any hazards, near misses, or any Health & Safety concerns
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in your work area
- Complying with all company policies and procedures (food safety & health and safety)

**Skills and experience required of our **Despatch Operative**:

- Have previous food manufacturing (desirable)
- Able to work as part of a team as well as an individual
- Basic communication skills
- A positive attitude to work
- Able to take instruction and follow procedures
- Have the right to work in the UK
