Nursery Cleaner

_Swan Meadow Private Day Nurseries comprise of two well-established outstanding nurseries in Delph, Oldham. We offer consistently exceptional childcare and early education for children aged between 6 weeks to 5 years, and are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate individual to join our successful team._

**_The nursery cleaner will work individually to perform a variety of regular cleaning tasks and duties as directed by management. _**
- In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean and tidy. _
- _Be able to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the setting at all times _
- _Be able to identify any needs / or issues around the nursery_
- _Need a valid DBS _
- _Working hours are Monday - Friday 3.30-5.30_

**_Responsibilities and duties _**
- _Be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the nursery and for maintaining high and consistent standards_
- _Ensure Health & Safety, quality and general procedures compliance _
- _To take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within a rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standard. _
- _To clean all areas of the nursery including toilets, kitchen, children’s rooms and staff areas_
- _Report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas_
- _To be committed to the safeguarding of all children _

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oldham, OL3 5TW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
