**Job Purpose**
- As a tester, you will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment.
- You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed from the arcade game before it gets deployed to everyday users.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Work as an integral member of the Game Test team, testing features throughout the game development cycle, commencing from an understanding of design brief, and culminating in sign off for market release.
- Work alone and as part of a team to identify bugs in our games
- Ensure that builds meet our required quality and stability
- Test all products against our internal standards requirements
- Actively participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure QA effectively tests & supports all features of the project
- Ensure that all issues & bugs are reported in an efficient & informative manner, maintaining the integrity of our bug database and reporting. Compile concise bug reports that clearly communicate the issues to the development team
- Follow detailed test-plans through to completion
- Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on gameplay
- Carry out observations of and report on playtesting of new games both in-house and at external sites
- To ensure game play quality and an optimal Player experience on target product lines.
- Play competing products and report on gameplay
- Get involved in weekly brainstorming of new game concepts
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Recommending game additions or modifications.
- Participating in post-release support of games by providing feedback on patches and new versions of the game
- Collaborate with other departments to assess their testing needs and requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

- QA Testing: 1 year (required)
