HGV Mechanic in Winsford, Cheshire
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in Winsford, Cheshire. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles to a high standard. This is a full-time position working Mondayto Friday, with an average working week of 50 to 55 hours.
A minimum of 2 years' experience working as an HGV Mechanic
Experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of HGVs
Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
A full UK driving licence
Responsibilities will include:
Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on a fleet of HGVs
Diagnosing and repairing faults on vehicles and trailers
Carrying out MOT inspections and preparing vehicles for testing
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
We are offering a competitive salary of £14.00 per hour, with overtime paid at £21.00 per hour. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including pension contributions, sick pay and holiday entitlement.
