Transport Clerk

We are currently looking for aproficientmulti-tasker with excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude who is available for a immediate start for a Transport Clerk role. This is an entry level role but partial experience is needed.

Shifts;
- Monday to Friday
- 09:30-18:00/ 07:00-15:00 (Rotate on a weekly basis)
- Overtime sometimes available at weekends

Minimum experience required: 12 months proven experience in an import and export admin role or similar.

Other competencies required:

- Bachelor's degree (or higher / Equivalent) required.
- 1 year experience in Logistics or Transportation.
- Excellent administrative skills
- Prior Customs knowledge with be valued
- Keen to develop in the role and expand knowledge of Customs & Brexit
- Must be comfortable using in house computer systems in the transportation of goods and trains from the UK to Spain (full 1 month training training will be provided)
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ideally you will have had experience in a similar role and a sound knowledge of a Transport and Logistics.
- 2-3 years experience in transport using TMS and transport bags
- Great telephone manner
- Excellent spoken & written English
- Spanish and/or French language skills a bonus but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Team player

- Planning and management of transport services.
- Coordination and allocation of necessary resources.
- Tracking and solving incidents.
- Accounting and control of services.
- Communication of international traffic.
- KPI´s monitoring.
