Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales/Marketing Assistant to join our team. This position will play a key role in supporting our sales and marketing efforts. The Sales/Marketing Assistant will assist with various tasks to help promote our products and services, manage social media platforms, and maintain positive public relations. Working within a small family business the role is very varied and a willingness to assist in all areas of the business is required.

**Duties**:

- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns
- Create engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and competitors
- Assist with the creation of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations
- Liaise with customer regarding price negotiation, despatch of their orders
- Collaborate with transport customers and couriers
- Assist in maintaining customer databases and updating contact information
- Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing departments as needed
- Provide general office administration

**Skills**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management platforms
- Confident with customers
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with graphic design software is a plus

This is a paid position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
