**Support Worker / Relief Support Worker / Night Support Worker**

**Area: A service located in either Market Weighton, Pocklington or Walkington**

**£11.05 - £12.95 per hour**

We have 3 services located within 15 minutes of each other, each looking for Support Workers.

About the services:

- Market Weighton currently supports 4 gentlemen with varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities. They all engage in meaningful activities both within their own home and their community, including arts and crafts, swimming, bowling, days, and meals out, cinema trips and holidays. 1:1 support is given throughout the day but they also enjoy spending time together.
- Algarth is a lovely service situated in Pocklington, here we support 3 gentlemen with mild learning disabilities and epilepsy. The guys like to go out for coffee, small walks, watching sports, listening to music and are very involved in their own care and support. The guys need encouraging to do more for themselves, including tasks such as cooking of meals, medication management, and cleaning around the house. Public transport is limited to access Algarth as there are no train stations in Pocklington. There are buses but the nearest bus station is 20-30 mins walk away from Algarth.
- At Innisfail in Walkington you will be joining a dedicated staff team who support four ladies with their day to day lives. It isn’t just about supporting them with their medication and personal care. It’s so much more They love to go for fish and chips, to garden centres and doing crafts. You will be making memories for you and them as you join them for the fun

**Due to the individuals needs across all 3 services, a full UK license is essential for this job role.**

**Some of what you’ll be doing**:

- You’ll be involved in the amazing hobbies and activities our individuals love to do.
- Assist in meal preparation and medication management.
- Accompany Individuals to appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
- Provide personal care to individuals, including bathing, dressing and toileting.
