Meica Coordinator

We have a great opportunity for a **MEICA Coordinator** to join the Costain team working on the Southern Water, CMDP framework.

**About The Project**
CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT and delivers a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s Water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & Sussex).

**Key Responsibilities**
Responsible to the Area M&E Manager
Responsible for providing an M&E service to the Project Manager
Responsible for the coordination and allocation of workload of the M&E team for Design, Procurement, Site Installations, Commissioning and Documentation
Attend regular design meetings
Produce M&E procurement schedules
Carry out any Design required by the project
Manage sub-contract packages, ensure all documentation is correct
Assist in the preparation of enquiry documents for various treatment processes
On Site tests and inspections if required
On Site commissioning if required
Carry out duties/functions under Gleeson Quality & Safety Management Systems

**About You**
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
Experience on water/wastewater plant design construction and procurement
Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical services guides and standards
Good knowledge of design, procurement and associated documentation
Strong communicator
CSCS card or equivalent and EUSR Card
HS&E knowledge & competence
Safety Training Scheme or equivalent
