Handyperson - Hitchin

Handyperson required for full time permanent maintenance and repair role in Hitchin.
- £31,200 pa plus holiday pay and pension
- 07.00-4pm Monday to Friday
- Stable and secure role in a very large building maintenance organisation

**Purpose of job**

**No qualifications required** -you will be working alongside the on site maintenance team, carrying out straightforward maintenance and repair work such as basic plumbing, repairing doors and windows, fitting locks, painting walls, wiring a plug, changing a light bulb and other general maintenance and repair work.

**All Applicants must have the following**:

- Time served experience as a handyperson, maintenance person, caretaker or multi skilled repair person
- Experience in straight forward plumbing such as changing taps and flushing through water systems
- Ability to repair doors and windows and change locks on doors
- Experienced in very basic electrical work such as wiring a plug, changing a light bulb etc
- Good all round experience in planned maintenance and reactive repair
- Hitchin

£31,200 pa - Monday to Friday - 07.00-4pm - 40 hours per week
