Multi-Trades Recruitment is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant (Handyman) to work closely with our client in the Hampshire area to deliver high-quality maintenance services. As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance activities, providing hands-on support to the customer, and supervising works carried out by specialist subcontractors. You will also be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all legislation and company procedures and maintaining up-to-date records.

**Shift times**: 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday

**Pay**:Weekly pay at a rate of £16.35ph

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Completion of PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements
- Supervision works carried out by specialist sub-contractors
- Supporting the Helpdesk and operational team
- Ensuring all statutory records are available and up-to-date
- Performing basic plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and painting and decorating tasks
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
- Monitoring stock and ordering procedures
- Maintaining landscaping and common areas
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety policies

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar role in a professional Facilities Management environment
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IOSH Working Safely qualification
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths
