**About You**:
**Exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Town Planner**

**Do you want to gain experience of the planning process by working as a Statutory Consultee?**

You will be a qualified Town Planner with post graduate, or other, qualifications which give eligibility for membership of the RTPI.
You will have knowledge and understanding of the roles and needs of relevant stakeholders involved in the planning process.

You will have good presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and report writing skills and be computer literate.

You will have the ability to work well as part of a team with a high workload and tight deadlines to meet requiring effective time management to prioritise workloads

**About The Role**:
You will be part of a small team involved in providing substantive written responses to planning consultations received in our role as a statutory consultee.

You will gain valuable first hand experience of the role and remit of statutory consultees and how they interact with the planning process.

You will be involved in developing external relationships with Local Authorities and other organisations to improve understanding of our remit and policies.

You will have opportunities to be involved in providing planning advice and support to other team’s projects within organisation.
