**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our team. As a Control Panel Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining control panels used in various systems. Your expertise in hand tools, surface mount technology, logic controllers, and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of control panels.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Fabrication of panel layouts, assembly of backplates and components
- Wiring panels to drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Testing of panel in house and during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Ability to plan, organise, and manage workload within the team
- Ensure the right stock is available for projects
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings
- Basic electrical qualifications and knowledge - ongoing training

**Engineers with any of the following will be considered**:

- Previous experience in control panel assembly or related field preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for panel assembly
- Familiarity with surface mount technology and logic controllers
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
