**Electrical Supervisor**:

- REQUISITION ID: 2799- LOCATION: Didsbury, GB, M20 2DX- DEPARTMENT: Product Management**Job purpose**

The ESV’s main job purpose is to provide technical (especially electrical) expertise during the installation and finishing phase in order to prepare the WTG/ WF for commissioning. Additionally, the ESV can be involved in resolving quality deviations (de-snagging) to ensure not only a smooth handover to the customer but also a smooth operation over the WTG’s lifetime. To achieve this, all installation and finishing activities are to be executed in a safe manner considering the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

**Key accountabilities**
- To inspect, control and supervise the respective electrical installation inside and adjacent to a WTG according to the relevant instructions** **for the WTG (including Technical Notifications and Safety Alerts).
- Control and supervise all activities related to the installation and connection of the SCADA communication system. Moreover, the SCADA system must be prepared for commissioning by energization and verification of telecom connection prior the commissioning of the first WTG.
- Ensure that all installation and finishing activities comply with general Nordex HSE regulations and specific HSE regulations for construction sites.
- All electrical work carried out on-site must be performed with respect to the five basic electrical safety rules.
- Ensure there is pro-active quality through the whole installation and finishing process always with the focus of a smooth handover of the WTG/WF to the customer.
- Assist the site manager in QG1 inspections on delivery to the site.
- Participate actively at daily and weekly site meetings organized by the Site Manager
- During the Commissioning and Testing phase of the WTG, the Site Manager may also request the ESV to remain on site and provide support to the Commissioner and/or supervise and control the subcontractor’s activities, if considered necessary in order to achieve timely the works, such as quality testing, completion of corrective actions, etc.
- Additional work may be delegated to the ESV by the Head of Site Supervision (e.g. participation in Quality Gate 4, Retrofit performance monitoring, Execution of electrical safety test, etc.)
- To coordinate with the site Manager regarding the activities related to the switch-on and switch-off operations of the WTG/WF. Ensure all personnel are clear off WTGs prior to switching operations.
- Conducting Quality deviations occurring during installation and finishing, which can cause damage to personnel, environment, or property, must be reported immediately to the SM and Head of Site Supervision.

**Career / Job experience**
- Significant experience in working with WTGs.
- Experience with low, medium, and high-voltage component systems

**Education and qualification**

Certificate as a qualified electrician or qualified electrical worker
- GWO approved training -Ful package (WAH, Manual Handling, First aid, fire awareness)
- Rescue and rescue at heights training
- Occupational health & safety instruction
- IOSH/ NEBOSH desirable
- Electro-technical instruction - “EuP” (valid for GER) or equivalent
- High & medium voltage switching operation authorization
- Valid driving license

- Able to work in or lead a team.
- Systematic problem-solving and safety-orientated behavior
- Strong personal planning & organisation skills
- The position has a high travel requirement for both UK & Ireland.
- Capability to comprehend and adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to clients and customers.
- Physically fit to climb WTGs (Chester step test).
- Ability to use Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to input data into company ERP system - Upvise
- Effective communicator
