Main Responsibilities
- Have excellent knowledge of hard landscape and seasonal landscaping of parks, ideally holiday parks.
- Work on site, performing all levels of grounds work, either alone, as a leader of a team, or as a leader of multiple teams simultaneously.
- Provide onsite co-ordination of work for park gardeners and grounds maintenance both verbal and written, following site health and safety compliance.
- Ensure the quality of the grounds work meets brand standard by inspecting the work of the grounds team, participating in the development and revision of work and providing necessary training and directing corrective measures to be taken when necessary to meet high standards.
- Ensure safe siting of caravans on the park, following H&S guidelines.
- Develop an effective team by mentoring employees and supervising the proper use of tools, materials, and equipment for safe and efficient work performance and assuring that the work is accomplished in the most efficient manner possible.
- Select, utilise and evaluate procedures, materials, tools and equipment appropriate for the task.
- Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Grounds Department by performing all other assigned tasks.
- Managing budgets to complete grounds work in the most cost-effective way without compromising on quality.
- To effectively complete team appraisals and implement performance management and training to aid retention, improve skill gaps and team engagement.

Driving Licence Essential

Availability - shift Pattern 8am - 5pm / weekend working required to meet the needs of the business
