**Salary: £22,369 - £27,344 FTE (£16,976- £18,255 pro rata)**

**We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join Nethergate Academy,** **and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher.**

The academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families.

Nethergate Academy is an Outstanding special academy in the City of Nottingham for 168 pupils aged 5-19 with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Many pupils are autistic and some have SEMH needs.

You will be required to help with the organising and running of intervention groups across the academy and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher; including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time.

This role is for 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday and is required in term time (39 weeks); therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
