We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to be part of our team in a permanent full-time position.

Being part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service each time they visit our store. You will assist in maximising store profitability and utilising the in-store devices whilst contributing to a successful store. We are looking for someone who’s fully flexible and would prefer with previous retail experience.

This will be a three-month Probation Period with the potential of a full-time permanent position.

**Customer Service**
- Greet all customers in a warm, genuine, and friendly manner.
- Ensure that customers receive the best possible service every time they enter the store.
- Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
- Utilise the in-store devices, offering the customer the whole product range.
- Provide alternatives and add on sales at every opportunity.
- Good Telephone Manner
- Team Player

**Visual Merchandising**
- Assist in the maintenance of standards on the shop floor and for all displays and merchandise.
- Maintain the stores cleanliness and keep it presentable at all times.
- Replenish stock levels when needed, making sure the full product range is on the shop floor where possible.

**General**:

- To deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
- Always represent the company in the most professional manner.
- Conduct your work in a safe and responsible manner.
- System entry, stock counting, picking and inventory control.
- Preparing and completing orders for our customers
- Checking and preparing outbound orders for couriers to collect.
- Taking part in regular stock counts and all associated stock control processes.
- Till handling
- Taking incoming/outgoing phone calls.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a Retail or Customer service assistant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Good telephone manner
- Good communication skills.
- Confident and outgoing.
- Effective selling skills.

**Must Haves**:

- Good time management skills.
- Reliable.
- Good sense of humour.
- General interest in sport.
- Prepared to work paid overtime during the busy periods of the year. This can include early starts and late finishes, depending on the business requirements. Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
