Job Title: Day Care Activity Coordinator

Accountable to: Day Care Supervisor

Job Purpose: To entertain and stimulate our member through a variety of activities which includes:

- singing and dancing, arts and crafts, quizzes and games, exercise and lots more. You will also be required to carry out personal care where appropriate.

21 hours per week (9AM- 4.30PM 3 days a week must be flexibility to cover holidays)

Job Role:

- Prepare and create stimulating activities for member participation.
- Lead daily activities which include singing, dancing, games and crafts
- Be fully involved, supporting other team members in all activities.
- Keep members focussed and engaged with activities.
- Provide our members with an appropriate level of support with personal care needs
- Support members during travel to/from the day care centre
- To maintain effective members’ records

About You:

- You need to be warm, empathetic and personable. Your organisational skills and driven mind set mean you will always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our members and other staff to get involved in all activities.

Any similar experience would be ideal but isn't essential especially because we will make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills.

Experience:

- NVQ Level 2
- Previous experience in a care setting
- Preferable experience with Dementia/Complex Needs
- Ideally hold enhanced DBS

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
