Sessional Household

When required, you will assist the substantive Household Team to maintain high levels of cleanliness to agreed standards within the Houses, and participate in general domestic duties throughout Rossie as directed by the relevant supervisor/line manager.

£12.58 per hour

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**To carry out cleaning and related duties within the Houses as determined by the relevant manager**:

- Generally maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness within the common parts of a designated House or area;
- Ensure that the kitchen area is maintained at the highest level of hygiene;
- In collaboration with the Chef Manager, ensure that the House toilets are consistently maintained at the highest levels of hygiene;
- Assist in the serving of meals to the young people including laying tables and cleaning away afterwards.

**Responsibility for other domestic duties within the Houses**:

- When required collect the House’s laundry and deliver it to the central laundry;
- When required ensure that there are adequate supplies of clean laundry available within the unit;
- As required, assist with the laundering of young people’s clothing within the unit.

**General domestic duties within Rossie**:

- Assist with the provision of domestic duties throughout Rossie inclusive of all common areas, offices suites and corridors;
- When required, provide general cleaning duties in the central kitchen.

**General Kitchen duties**:

- General kitchen and equipment cleaning, including pot washing and dish washing;
- Assist in the preparation of sandwiches and salads;
- Assist with receipt and storage of deliveries.
