**Join Our Team as a Fully Qualified, Experienced Butcher**

**Location**:Penrith, Cumbria

**Pay Rate**: Dependent on experience, to be confirmed
- As a Butcher, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to meat cutting, preparation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Skilfully cut, trim, and portion different types of meats according to customer specifications and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cutting area to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Receive, inspect, and store meat products properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Uphold our commitment to quality by adhering to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role in a meat market, grocery store, or food service establishment.
- Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knowledge of different cuts of meat.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
