**Responsibilities**:
Mobility Assistance: Provide support with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transferring techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent falls or injuries.

Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure, under the direction of registered nurses or healthcare providers.

Assistance with Medical Procedures: Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, specimen collection, and administration of medication as directed.

Patient Observation: Observe and report changes in patients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare team members, documenting observations accurately and promptly.

Patient Comfort: Ensure patients are comfortable and well-cared for by providing assistance with positioning, turning, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, engaging in conversations, providing reassurance, and actively listening to their concerns or needs.

Patient Education: Provide basic health education and instructions to patients and their families on topics such as medication management, nutrition, hygiene, and self-care techniques.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care provided, vital signs, and any changes in patient status or condition.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Healthcare Assistant preferred.

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred but not mandatory.

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals.

Basic understanding of medical terminology, infection control practices, and safety procedures.

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Willingness to undergo background checks and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
