Goods in

An established Catering Butchers is looking for an additional **Goods-In / Out - Warehouse Operative** to work within their goods in, cold store and freezer area.

**Working Hours**:Average of 42.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 2:00 pm, plus alternate Saturdays 4:00 am to 9:30 am.

**Salary**:
Starting at £12.00 depending on forklift licence held.

You will be responsible for receiving 'Goods In', by use of a Counterbalance Fork Lift, accurately checking delivery notes, completing traceability documentation, storing produce and rotating stock in fridges and freezer.

Additionally, you will be required to assist with picking orders for despatch.

**This Goods-In / Out - Warehouse Operative role requires someone to**:

- Be highly organised, ensuring labelling and traceability is maintained to a high standard
- Ensure that stock is rotated in line with Company procedures
- Pick goods for despatch accurately completing picking list/s in preparation for invoicing to the customer
- Ensure Food Hygiene and Health and safety regulations are always adhered to

**You will have a valid Counter Balance fork lift licence, experience of stock rotation and general goods in / out procedures. Experience of working within a food environment would be an advantage.**

**Additionally, you will need**:

- A good level of written and spoken English
- Clear communication skills
- To be numerate, as accurate recording of items received is paramount
